Who Am I?

I’m Jen.

And I’m an Egalitarian. Which, for those who don’t know, means that I believe that all people are equal and are entitled to equal rights, equal opportunities and fair treatment under the law, in business, in education and in society.

It’s a pretty basic concept to me, but it seems that some people, especially a lot of people on the internet, really struggle with it.

This blog is where I can collect little corners of the internet that give me hope for humanity, that show there are intelligent, witty, erudite, sassy, funny people out there who are making the internet a better place (and, following on from that, the world) but challenging sexism, misogyny, homophobia, racism, classism and general intolerance by creating, writing and calling out those internet users who use their IP addresses for evil.

I have two other blogs, one about my general adventures and one about my crafting.
